In my story, my MC is in love with this guy, Ryan, who she thinks is in love with her too, but he is actually just a really big jerk and is using her (he is secretly the antagonist), but my MC also has a crush on her "guard" guy, and he has a little one on her, too, but they don't do anything because of Ryan. The guard guy, Lyf, meets the MC's best friend and develops feelings for her almost instantaneously. Lyf and the MC do end up kissing and Lyf does fall in love with her, but she doesn't return it because she thinks she is in love with Ryan. By the end of the story, Lyf pretty much hates the MC (not just because of the love thing, other reasons, too) and then falls in love with her friend (not as a rebound, though.)
So... that is the question, does that sound like too much love drama? My story isn't all about love, this whole thing going on is just like a side plot.
