Okay..
I am a emote user, I basically use XD in every other sentence, or
when someone compliments me online. My friend started to argue with me saying, "I don't understand why people use emotes, they can't explain how you feel. And that little thing can build up and turn into something huge, like a disease or something. They're stupid and I can't believe people are lazy enough to use them. It's just pure laziness."
That's obviously summarized, this was an hour argument...>.>...
I really don't care that much, but the fact that she was fighting with me about something so stupid made me REALLY irritated. I kept telling her "It's not a big deal. They are little pictures that show facial expressions which show emotions. If you want to explain your emotion, that's what you do, there's not much more to it." And she was literally arguing the whole time saying tons of things.
Do you think this argument is total BS and she just wants to argue with me because it's a hobby of hers? (she does it a lot) Or do you agree with this argument and can you add reasons why you agree?
