Do you think they should make a sequel to mamma mia? apparently universal have asked the writer of mamma mia whether she wishes to script another story ...the abba guys havent said no or yes !! personally i think not and they should leave the origional to be left out on its own!.. which is a masterpiece!! but secretly i fear they will make one!!

Eugh, that's just getting greedy. What would they do, exactly? They've exhausted all the best Abba songs!
Well I did read that they were planning on doing another show/film with some of the other ABBA tracks, but I doubt it will be a sequel even indirectly to Mamma Mia.
I think the story ended well and wrapped everything up - there was no desire (for me anyway) to know what the characters did next as I did with Hairspray.

The biggest Abba hit that wasnt used in the film was Fernando. Apart from that there is Summer night City, Angel Eyes and later hits such as One Of Us, Under Attack and The Day before you came. Of the album tracks I can only think of Eagle as one that many would know. So really it probably is best left alone.

^Well Donna did hum Fernando right before she sang Mamma Mia.
despite there are some great abba recorRAB left like summer night city, hole in your soul( they used this when they rehearsed.the voulus voux dancing scene .!!.pity they didnt include it in the film) so long ,ring ring ,one of us ,etc etc but i think they will have to use some of the origional songs and simply it would dilute the origional film!!
