Absolutely! That will encourage more people to bike therefore reducing congestion, road noise, road wear, pollution. Small cities absolutely must make an effort to make transportation more friendly for buses, bikes, and pedestrians.
I would rather wish for more parking spaces, but then I drive a car.
In my city, cyclists are a complete menace, disobeying traffic lights and signs, cutting cars off, etc.
