Do you think the world will end in 2012?

Ive heard a lot of talk about 2012, that thats the year the worlds will end. google is after u read this.
 
After surviving pretty much predictions of armageddon, maybe in 2012 someone might actually say "I told you so!"
 
how many times have these things been said? and not 1ns has it actually happened. the world wont end, and if it was going to how would we know when its going to happen?
 
No, I don't. People have tried and tried to predict the end of the world and Christians have used the book or Revelation to try to figure out the mystery. None have had success. That is something that no doubt will happen, but my guess is we are thousands of years away from this. I am guessing of course but thinking in terms of science to make my guess.
 
i believe that the cookie monster will come and eat your face out and kill everyone!!!!....but that is just me....
 
I am not an expert at this nor do I study that much about this subject. What I believe is the only way for us to really know when the world is going to end is by measuring depth of the heat from below. We have had volcanoes erupt and earth quakes explore, but the heat from the center of the earth has only risen so far. Volcanoes are the release of the heat from the center of the earth. Which in away is one thing we do need. The only bad thing about then are the humans and animals that dye (which is major tragedy)
 
lol they say the exact same thing every 5-10 years.All they can do is make predictions......they don't know a date as when the world will end.Seriously,they said the same thing would happen in 2000......then in 2005.Guess what?? WERE STILL HERE!!

idk i think its a great possibility but who really knows ill get back to you in 2013 and let you know
 
In a sense i dont think its gonna happen, cuz u know all these weird theories like tat Y2k and stuff like that. In another sense, MANY different cultures all point out to 2012 being the end of the world. And even the Mayans had the Long Count calendar ending on December 21 2012. So i really dont know what to believe. I mean i hope it doesnt happen i but think SOMETHING will happen, maybe not the end of the world but something. Because the magnetic poles of the Earth will shift since it is switching sides in the Galaxy (going on the other side of the disc). And that happens every 25600 years and that is on 2012. But if it will have a major effect on our planet? I dont know. It has happend before as our planet is 4.6 billion years old and not all of the animals are extinct. So we just have to wait and see.

Edit: Ya and it doesnt have to be something as crazy as like some of the theories, but the world can be ended by war, Global warming, magnetic pole shift causing serious weather catastrophes... etc..
 
no, quit asking these stupid questions. it didn't end in Y2K, in 06/06/06, and it wont end in 2012
 
Noboby knows for sure what the future holds! If it's gonna happen then it will whether we are informed of it or not! Live for right now, that's all you can do. If it does at least we'll all be together in heaven and from what I've heard it's a better place anyway!
 
I couldn't immagine everything goin wrong in less than 4 years... so no,,, i don't think the world will end in 2012. That's the stupidest thing i've ever heard, and i go to school with druggies...
 
i personally think the world will not end. it seems unreal that the world will just end in decmeber 12th 2012 and somebody could be so percise on the date.
 
I watched it on the discovery channel. I believe we dont know when that will happen there could be an atomic bomb or something to hit us now and we would be done.
They say the I Ching calendar runs out then and people have seen into the future to say it will end on December 27,1012. I done think it will happen, but there is no need to worry about that for nothing

U know the world was suppose to end in 1998 and the jews said it was suppose to end in the 80s I think.
What about the millenium, nothing happened, right.
We wont be here to see the world end unless a disaster strikes which can happen at anytime

According to the Mayan calendar this is when we will enter into the next "age". There is no evidence to say that the calendar is suggesting "the end of the world".
