Well so was the NFL when they started up back in the day and look at them now. So for now let's see how it all plays out. In this economy however it will be way more difficult though.
It's hard to tell until we see it. Even the USFL ended up getting some good players. The AFL made a dent into the NFL. But, of course, the XFL was a total joke.
