do you think the truckers in the uk will get satisfaction with this fuel protest?

how long will it be before this country grinds to a halt if all the truck drivers loose their jobs because the fuel and costs to own a truck fleet will be to high to run then the forign trucks move in
the fence sitter has a great point regarding the railways but alas most tracks have been ripped up and are now horse ,cycle and senic walk ways there is a lot of these only an odd mile from where i live
