enforced? What is your age? Those under 18 cannot use any type of cell phone device while driving. Please answer.

I don't think anyone should be using a cell phone while driving - pull it over and park if you have a need to make a call. I think that the statistics prove how dangerous it is to use your cell phone while driving. Goodness, if you can have a wreck by just messing with your car's radio, how can you be expected to use a cell phone?

Nobody should. We have been nearly hit a few times by someone turning right... looking left for oncoming traffic, with a cellphone held to their right ear, turning without noticing us at all.

In Illinois, there is no cell phone usage while anyone is driving a vehicle. One that is not a hand held unit is okay though. Yes, they should be enforced.

If you went to driver's ed. you know that you are supposed to have both hands on the wheel while driving. What part of that instruction says its ok to take out, open, dial, and talk to your people while speeding down the road. I had a man look right at me and then pull out of a side road while he was on a cell. If I hadn't laid on my horn, I couldn't swerve because of on coming traffic, he would have T-boned me. I might have been ok but he would have killed my daughter sitting in the passenger seat.
Enforce the law for everyone not just under 18.
Under 18 means not enough maturity to make the correct driving decisions. Quite honestly if I had my way no one would get a license until they were 18. The under 18 accommodation was for farm kids to drive tractor during harvest and they don't do much that anymore.
Yes I'm an old broad, 50+.

i live in NC and that same law is in effect here..i dont think talking on a cell phone should be legal ANYWHERE, not even with a handsfree device...ppl just dont pay attention....it should definetly be enforced
