2001-2002 Still wasn't really on that level yet, and it didn't help that Shaq was clearly better and clearly the team leader

2004 KG rightfully won it. Kobe didn't even play 70 games that year
2005-2007 His team's record wasn't any good. No player since the 70s has won MVP while his team didn't even win 50 games.

I KNOW HOW THE MEDIA AND STERN WORK AGAINST "WEAK" TEAMS SUCH AS GSW, ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE TEAMS WITH ALL STARS IN THEM EXCEPT DWYANE WADE, THIS INCLUDES THE LAKERS, CELTICS, AND ESPECIALLY THE CAVALIERS.
