Do you think the media/news is biased?

also some evidence would be nice considering most of us have just been brainwashed into thinking the opposite party is biased. (you might think about it and surprise yourself when you can not think of any evidence)

Yes and has been for at least twenty years. Best evidence is to know the truth yourself and then watch as they twist it, avoid it or make excuses instead of reporting the truth.

The ACORN corruption is a perfect example, the major networks are still in denial, yet everyone in the world has known and sees the truth.

With the exception of Fox the news leans very hard to the left.

It's the way the stories are flavored or "spun"

There are far too many to tell , but I'll offer the example that stunned me the most.

Back when 0bama took over Chrysler , he gave preferential treatment to his union pals over the secured bond holders.
This is unheard of as the whole idea in a secured bond is ,,, well ,, to be secured.

Justice Ruth Ginsberg suspected this was a violation of the bond holders rights and asked for a delay to investigate the constitutionality of these actions.

The story was reported (on NBC ) " Justice Ginsberg Sabotages 0bama's Attempt To Save Detroit "

When in fact it should have been " Justice Ginberg investigates constitutionality of Chrysler deal "

The Alphabet Networks ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN are biased in support of Obama.

Fox News must be getting something right for Obama to want to shut them up.

Hitler and Stalin did the same thing in their dictatorships prior to WWII.

If Fox News were just Propaganda Obama would just ignore them.

.We know the "traditional" media is biased. Lots of proof, including:
(1) Dan Rather continued to present evidence against G. Bush that was based on a typewriter model from years later than the time it was claimed to be typed -- so blatant that it cost him his job. A proven hoax.
(2) Brokow was heard to say, after someone gave a pre-vote estimate for a middle "red" Atlantic state: "How's our side doing?"
(3) Bill Moyer, (a former Democrat administration Chief-of-Staff), on PBS has his own program, where he can barely keep from grinding his teeth at Republicans.
(4) Katy Curric and other "impartial" interviewers always give soft questions to Democrat candidates and then do hatchet jobs on G.O.P. candidates.

Everyone is biased one way or the other.
It doesn't matter if it is someone of the street or a news organization.
We are all biased.

Well yes...it is extremely obvious in these days. Hate them or love them FOX has uncovered and reported corruption in ACORN and ALL THE OTHER news outlets ignored it until the Gov't cut-off their funding...FOX uncovered and reported the racial and controversial comments MADE ON VIDEO by Van Jones and ALL THE OTHER NEWS outlets ignored the story until he was let go...and then is was just a brief comment. The news of Limbaugh wanting to buy the St. Louis Rams was all over the news outlets WITH ALL OF THEM REPEATING the FABRICATED COMMENTS it got over 40 HOURS of coverage with the lies....after it come out that the racist comments were fabricated there was a total of 46 SECONDS of coverage ONLY on ABC.

When Joe the Plumber asked Obama a question during the campaign...the media tried to destroy him. They went through his trash, did intensive background checks on him....simply because he dared asked Obama a question that THEY thought was inappropriate.

Just very recently Saturday Night Live did a comedy skit claiming Obama hasn't accomplished anything in his 10 months in office...CNN Wolf Blitzer and his guest actually did a whole segment of "Fact Checking" about the skit...trying to disprove all of the SNL claims. Can you EVER REMEMBER a time that ever happened during the Bush years or the Sarah Palin skits?

I can give you many, many more examples if you want.

Considering a "journalist" at MSNBC said during the campaign that hearing Obama's name sent a tingle up his leg, do you consider that to NOT be biased?

Considering we knew more about Sarah Palin in 3 or 4 weeks than we learned about Obama in 2 years (considering he denied anything negative said about him and the media constantly took his side), do you find that to NOT be biased?

Of course the media is biased. And they usually lean liberally, considering Fox News is the only network Obama is trying to destroy due to their viewpoint and their ability to not get on their knees and kiss his feet (or his butt).

Yes and I have notice it for years. When a democrat is in office news is always reported reported with a positive slanted propaganda in the liberal press. When a republican is in office it is just the opposite. For example our unemployment rate is over 10 %. This is the highest it has been since the Carter administration. Look at how it is being reported on the liberal news media.

Every academic study has concluded that the mainstream television news has a conservative bias, particularly on economic issues. Fox "News" is of course off the charts biased.
