Do you think the law should be the same for cats as it is for dogs?

For owners who have outdoor cats. Dogs need to stay in their yards. You don't see dogs roaming everywhere without a leash. Shouldn't it be the same for cats?
That way, cats wouldn't be killing the wildlife, they wouldn't be using their neighbors yards as litter boxes, they couldn't get run over by cars and so on! Wouldn't that be great? What are your opinions on this? Your cats would still get some 'fresh air" but only in your yard!

If the law should be the same for dogs and cats, then they should be the same for zebras and people

The law is the same for cats. If there is a cat in the middle of the road the pound will take them away, just like with dogs.

That would be excellent! They actually sell those outdoor habitats for cats, it is like a maze and jungle but all caged in and attached to the house, they are CRAZY expensive but so cool! If they were cheaper I would totally get one. I would hate to see anything happen to my persian so I don't let her outside ever, and I am called mean Well I am sorry but I would rather she only see the outdoors from the window than from the bottom of someones car or experience it by eating rat poison or getting into a cat fight OR etc!
