...the poor build their civilization? Not to say I don't like big scale projects, and most of the architecture in NY is awesome. But I watch a lot of Discovery channel, and the people that worked on these projects where dirt poor and got paid minuscule wages. After the empire state building was made, at the very top floor theres a guy looking at the stock market ticker selling everyone's future away to the lowest bidder. If I had any advice for the coming generations, I would make everyone become stock brokers or politicians. They are the only two entities in America that gamble with the dreams and hopes of a whole country. Most people I know can't even afford most of modern marvels in society. Can you afford to live on the 40th floor in NY? can you afford to buy a Tesla sports car? Its apparent society isn't functioning for the benefit of everyone, but only a select few.
