Do you think the 2009 Yamaha FZ6R is a good bike for a beginner female?

My husband and I own a yamaha YZF-R6, he tried to teach me to ride with it but the bike is to tall for me. Im only 5"4'. Im wondering if the new Yamaha FZ6R would be a good choice of bike for me?
I've talked to my husband about lowering our R6 (since he wants a ZX14) and I heard alot of people say it changes the handling of the bike and what-not...what would be better, get the new FZ6R or lower the R6 ( also the R6 is a raven edition so it came ready for racing or whatever, does that make any difference if i do lower it?
 
No way. For a male at that height, sure, but not with a vagina and ta-ta's, it just won't work. Sorry.
 
I've been riding since 05 and I've had a Ninja 250, then a Suzuki SV 650 and now I have a Giiiixxxer 750. I'm 5'9 so I've never had a problem but most that I know who are short have to get the bike lowered, and since you are 5'4 there is no bike out there that you would not have to get lowered.
