if someone is gullible enough to believe that an entire breed is bad because of a few news stories, do you think these are the same people who are closed minded enough to be racist against people? You know, the type of people always looking for a scapegoat to make themselves feel better about their own lives and sense of worth.

I agree with you to an extent. People who have never met or interacted with what the media considers a "dangerous breed" and who have the type of mind that is incapable of making a judgment based on their own experiences is more likely to be racist.
