Do you think that I could make is as a young Author?

Im 14 years old and i have been reading a lot of books and deicded to write one; I am concerned for myself and the book that im currently writing. Im on chapter 4 and decided that I might want it read but Im ot sure how editors would take my being 14. I would like to know if i would get the right respect or not.
 
im doing the exact same thing. i don't think that it will matter if a 14 year old decides to write a book because i'm doing that too and publishers just need a really good story no matter how old the writer is
