Do you think that a lot of pre-teens are spoiled?

I can definitely see your point on this. Still, not every teen/preteen is spoiled. Some people don't have anything, and the people who know this are happy when they get something good. I think people are like this because they don't understand that there are thousands of people who died every minute from things we don't even really know about: hunger, poverty, and disease. They don't realize that most of the world doesn't have what they have. They don't realize that they're lucky that they were born into the right family and that if they weren't, they might not be here today. I think that's why teens and preteens seem so spoiled half of the time.

Well, I have to agree with you on that one. I don't know anyone like that, but I do how ever see many kids with cell phones. I tell myself I will never give my kid a phone till she's in high school at the very least.
I also notice that kids in grade 5 are dressing more slutty, this might be because of the generation of parents, but when I was a kid I dressed in disney clothes. I'm only 17 years old, and seeing kids dressing like they're 19 going to a party bother me quite...

I'm not jealous by any means, but I've come to notice that not evvery, but a lot of teens, and especially pre-teens seem to get anything that they want. I know a girl who is 13 and her parents got her an expensive cell phone and when she can't get service she says "This is such a crappy phone, why can't my parents get me anything good" and she bounces in off of the floor repeatedly and then wonders why is doesn't work anymore. Does anybody know someone like this? Tell me the story.
