Do You Think Stuff Will Get Less Expensive After The War?

All i hear is "Food prices are going up, up up! No one really knows why!" and all i think is "Idoits, its the war your in (Iraq). Once you end the stupid thing all the gas and all the food will go back to being normally priced (whatever that is...).

Anyone agree with me?
 
What war? The president declared the war was over at least five years ago. Where have you been? In a cave?
 
Check Yahoo's front page right now. They have 5 reasons why food prices are going up. So, no I do agree. The war is not the reason for everything...nor is Bush.
 
Prices haven't much to do with the American aggression in Iraq. The US is broke and won't be affluent for many years, if ever, but if they gave up on their horrible foriegn policy and cut themselves off from the rest of the world to develop their own country for a few decades they could come out ok.
 
You still have to repay your debts taht you racked up in other countries. Ameirca owes Japan like 700 Billion, China 400 Billion, the arab states another couple hundred billion, we owe the Carbbiean states money too (You'd think they would use it to better their countries).

And also, wars have actually been good for lifting the economy.
