The reason I ask is this president is NOT the first to consider her for this opening. I believe the first Bush had her in mind.
And if this seems to be a stretch then wouldn't you say if either party nominates the 1st (whoever) to (whatever) don't they take huge credits for doing just that?
One more question: Does it seem that our politicians have been in Washington forever? I mean there are Senators who've been Senators for well over 40 years.
