Do you think someone needs to explain to the media just what "Tea Bagging" is?

It's not so common now, but back when the Tea Parties were happening daily, a number of newscasters on the major outlets, (CNN, NBC, heck even FOX) were calling the people "Tea Baggers". Every time I heard this I'd snicker and laugh, knowing what that term means. I even heard it from a card carrying (I kid you not, he actually had a card) democrat. He turned quite red when he heard what it meant.

Tea Bagging: The act of a male squatting over a sleeping or reclining person and striking them in the face with the scrotum of the squatting male.

I knew what it meant, and I thought it was fantastic the protesters called themselves that. I have a feeling everyone else but FOX knew as well. But hey, that's the name they gave themselves.

Anderson Cooper knows what it means. His discussion of the tea parties using the term "tea baggers" was as close to coming out of the closet as he's ever gotten, other than when he correctly answered questions on musicals on Celebrity Jeopardy.

Beavis and Butthead giggled themselves silly. But the Tea Party Patriots never referred to themselves as "tea baggers". That was primarily Anderson Cooper on CNN who seems very familiar and comfortable with the term.
