This girl at my school got her book published! It was called i think... when there's a clique you have to think quick

Don't give up ... there's been even younger kids than 13 get books published!! If you think it's good, send 'em a copy and take their constructive criticism!! But don't give up!! It could happen ... i'm only 15, and I would LOVE to have a book published. Go for it!! Good luck!!
 
no don't change it, if you feel you have a great idea (love story) then use it.
the guy that wrote the book Eragon was only 15 when he wrote it, and just look how popular and known it is!
 
I'm writing about a love story? I have an idea about a forbidden love story. But I'm only 13, and I'm afraid that the publishers I'm looking for won't take me seriously. I'm afraid that they won't consider me "old enough" to be writing about love.
Should I just change the "love story" into a forbidden friendship instead? I have enough looseness in my story that I COULD change it into a friendship story, so should I?
