Do you think public schools with strict dress codes have a better learning environment?

I have always gone to a school with no emphasis on dress codes at all. The kids feel they can do anything and get away with it. They don't have any respect for teachers. Because I have never gone to a school with a strict dress code, I can't say that will make it better. If you have, do you think it makes it better? If you don't, do you think it would?
Haha (this is a common mistake so don't get mad) but it's we learn pretty WELL not good. It practically contradicted your statement.
