I wouldn't, but you might have to be a little extra careful about the cars that pass you.

If you're doing it for a Hallowe'en costume, more power to you. Some people seem to find us a little scary.

If you're doing it to discredit my church, I ask you to reconsider.

How would they know you were a pretend Mormon? The haircut? White shirt and black slacks? I think people would think it looked a little incongruous or out of character. I doubt they'd be offended.

I've seen guys do that and they get laughs. One guy wrote LSD on his badge instead of LDS...clever, huh.

keep in mind those guys ALWAYS have a companion, if your costume is good enough people are going to want to know where your companion is.

I have a friend that did that a couple Halloweens ago. He got some laughs and no one was offended.
