Do you think people are guilty of wrongdoing if they don't cooperate with...

...news reporters? For example:
The news reporter says, "I was investigating why the company didn't return the woman's money but they slammed the door in my face and they didn't return my phone calls either."

or

The news reporter talks to the company's CEO. The reporter says, "She hasn't seen any money returned to her from you for months. What's the deal?" The CEO says, "NO COMMENT! GET THIS CAMERA OUT OF HERE!" And then he puts his hand over the lens.
What I mean was, would this company be guilty of holding the woman's money if they are nasty about it to the news reporter?

Nobody is obligated to talk to newspaper people. And the sensationalist ones are the worst to talk too. You cannot win with them, even if you are right. All they want to do is gain viewers, they have no interest in truth or impartial reporting.

I can't think of a situation where I'd willingly talk to a reporter who approached me.
