I am in 8th grade and my grades are 75-85 which average is so everyone in my family thinks I am stupid and that I will not be successful. I however am smarter than my family in certain topics like politics and logic. I believe the system we have in education is not fair because we are taught meaningless things to our future like protons and neutrons or the plot of a particular book. I mean if I want to have a job in science I would care for protons or neutrons but most people don't. I think school should teach more useful things like how to manage a checking account or how to dress properly for a job instead of teaching about great plays from a long time ago.
