I do not think so,because because of Olympics many sports facilities are created which otherwise would not have been created for the sports persons.Many people earn their livelihood from this and other related works.People get an opportunity to visit various countries,Persons who can perform get recognition of their work/labour/qualities and are remembered for years to come and so on. There will be a big list of benefits.
