Horseback-Riding.

Alot of people i've talked to don't think its a sport. And let me tell you, it IS one! There is alot of long hard hours you put into it, and its not easy. You have to balance, hold on w/ your legs(using stirups is not holding on w/ you leg, but they help) cantering, jumping, and TONS more! Tell me if you think it is a sport or not, and why. Please don't answer if you just going to say "ive never done it, so i can't really say"
it makes me mad when people say the horse is doing all the work. :P(OMG TOO MUCH SMILEY USAGE!)
 
I think it's a sport! There are competitions, right? You work hard, right? Defintely qualifies as a sport to me(:
 
absolutely, i don't do it, but i have a friend who has and the competitive world of horseback riding and the amount of time put into it and how in shape you have to be is crazy.

Horse backriding is a sport!! Just not one many people get a chnce to exoperieance as they do not have a horse or money for the horse. I bet it is a hard sport just watching it on tv. I have seen them people they are all in shape. A fat person is not on a horse they are hard working. They do compete. They practice. Plus you have to trainj your horse and get the right outfit. Pay to join a compation. So why would anyone say that its they are used to traditional. They are low minded have not got to experiance life outside of wht everyone is doing.
