Do you think my friend’s parents were joking?

I was at my friend’s house we were watching a show where a girl cussed at her parents. My friend’s parents saw that part and were like omg I can’t believe anyone would speak like that. I was like I can because just last week my mom and I were fighting and I called her a B$%#.

They were like, well you better not talk like that in this house unless you want a spanking. I just laughed and said that I’m too old for that and it probably wouldn’t hurt anyway I would just stuff a notebook or something in my shorts. Then they said I could try but if I had behaved like the girl in the show then I would be getting it on my bare butt in front of everyone.

I don’t know them that well but do you think they were kidding or they would really do something like that? I was very careful to watch what I said after that.
 
they were probably kidding about the spanking your bare bum but not about the watching your language.

i dont think any sane parents would open themselves up to a lawsuit by stripping your and spanking you.

i guess they might like that kind of stuff and were seeing if you were into it too. maybe they're pervs who get off on spanking young butts like yours
 
are they whites?? If they are then that would be weird however asians practice that so.....
 
well swearing is very direspectful
and they probably don't want ot hear it in their house
so be more polite next time around.
 
They were probably kidding about the bare butt thing, but quite serious about watching your language.

Some people hate swearing, as it can be seen as disrespectful.

Why should you be worried anyway? You're not going to be swearing at someone else's house. That would just be rude and not polite.
