I have a 2001 kia optima (my first car) and after a year of having it, this is when the maintenance problems start showing up. I went to vavoline and they said I needed a radiator flush, transmission and power steering flush. They told me the radiator was important so I got that done asap but when I asked someone if the transmission is important, he told me that he has never got one on any of his cars. He also say people go their whole life without getting a tranny flush on their vehicle. Should I go through with this as it is pretty pricey? Also anything you can tell me on power steering flushes would be much appreciated as well.
