Do you think it's possible that everybody's perception of reality is

completely messed up? This is continuing on the last question:

Jesus said "if you continue in my commandments you will know the truth and the truth will set you free."

This means that most people are slaves to deception and cannot perceive reality accurately...

I was thinking today that the devil is any Christian, apostle, doctor, prophet, miliatary soldier, or pastor who tries to destroy other people spiritually because he doesn't feel that they are worthy of God's love...

They can do this by pronouncing curses over them as the psalmist did,
judging them,
excluding them,
deliberately putting burdens on others and making it harder for them to follow God,
misleading them about the way of righteousness,
giving them difficult solutions to problems when there is a much easier solution,
provoking them to sin by preying upon their personal weaknesses,
mocking them by exposing their flaws,
purposely trying to make them look bad in front of others so that nobody will help them,
trying to turn other people against them,
refusing to give people the information that they need to know how to better their lives,
refusing to show love or compassion to those that they deem to be "weak"
trying to prevent them from receiving prayer
or encouraging them to sin.

And if this is true... than even extremely religious people and extremely strong people can be extremely evil people....

So then... where is the truth in that? If even the extremely religious and extremely spiritual, the extremely strong and the extremely humble... could be classified as sons of the the devil, while those least in the kingdom of God could be classified a sons of light?

IF this is true wouldn't it be fair to say that God's perception of light and darkness is different from man's perception of light and darkness...

And if this is true should we forsake our perceptions of light and darkness completely or seek to modify it to make it conform to God's definitions?
