Do you think it's ironic that the black culture has so embraced Christianity...?

when the fact is that Christianity was forced on slaves from Africa in a show of western superiority?

Actually, I think it is even more ironic for ppl to claim they're Christians, and then turn around and enslave a bunch of people. I mean...

You seem to forgot that christianity was used by MLK Jr. to bridge the gap and remind us that we are all equal.

I've always had the impression that it wasn't forced on them. I was told that the christians justified their slavery by convincing their selves that one of the reasons Africans were beneath them was because they weren't Christian. But when the slaves started to embrace Christianity, the slave masters twisted the bible and some how interpreted it in a way that reinforced their superiority over the slaves because they couldn't use their original excuse.

Um...it was also forced on non christians too. Either you were killed or forced to conform. Hmm, you must've missed that piece of info. It wasn't just blacks hun.I love people like you! Always bringing up the blacks, and never really doing enough information.
