Do you think it's appropriate to discuss marital problems with an outsider?

An outsider like afriend or family - intimate stuff or problems about your marriage that you only share with your husband/wife. Isn't it some sort of betrayel if you blabber out these intimate stuff to an outsider for the sake of another point of view by pointing out all your partners bad qualities?

Well right or wrong everyone does it.. You spend half your day at work with coworkers. Have you never discussed your problems with one? Everyone needs somone other then there spouse at times to confide in.. Ill be honest my wife discusses our problems and intimate stuff with her sister.. I don't like it but i feel if she needs that outlet what right do i have to close it off..
