...what's going on with that company? I only buy preowned vehicle and there's one I would like to buy for my family.
 
If you like the car, go ahead and buy it. Even if one of the Big 3 is heading to fail, I don't think Congress would let them. They'd be throwing money at the problem until it gets "fixed."

However, if one of the thee is going to fail, it is going to be Chrysler. They are least likely to receive government funds as they privately owned and the smallest of the three. But failure is still unlikely.
