Do you think it's a good idea for parents to have to take a Quiz on childcare before...

...leaving the hospital? ...and then be required to return on the 2nd birthday and the 4th and etc. for further required testing?

We have to smog our cars and change snow-tires... yet we have NO skills for Parenting!

I think a book could be used as a standard, such as something by Dr. Phil. No one wants to abuse their child, of course not. When it happens, it is generally a crime of passion and ignorance. The idea here, would be to EDUCATE, EDUCATE, AND EDUCATE!
 
there is already parent classes is there not?

i have a daughter but i don't feel i need to go to them, if i need any kind of advice at all i just ask family. but i feel ive done/ are doing an alright job.
 
yes and a text book of some description ought to be issued and major lessons given on major subjects pre and post natal .
