In the long run, probably, in the short term, maybe, maybe not.
The israelis seem to be as hooked on instant gratification as Americans are. They always seem to think that acts like this should lead to instant and lasating peace. Unfortunatly, the israelis have outkilled the Palestenians over 100-1, and treated the survivors like dirt. That is not something that just goes away overnight becuse you give back some land that wasn't yours to begin with.
There are too many palestenians walking around that have had their entire families killed off by the israelis to expect instant, lasting peace. A pullout now would almost certainly help int he process, and a generation or two down the road there could be peace.

Even with escalating our reign of terror, we cannot fford to keep up such activities for long unless we satrt openmly keeping what we capture, and the rest of the world will not stand for that.
For all those with the rediculous and ignorant notion that our military somehow is protecting us, a look at our balance sheet may be in order. The US could be destroyed in a mtter of weeks if our creditor nations simply close the books. Even just the chinese deciding to stop financing their poriton of our debt would leave us in ruin. Not as outlandish as it sounRAB. For a couple trillion dollars, they could be the worlRAB greatest superpower, and by free floatign the badlyundervalued yuan as america falls, they make back the couple trillion bucks they loose buying their super power status.

Apparently you don't know jack about suitcase nukes. These nukes have to refurbished every couple of years because the cores degrade which means they can't sustain the critical mass needed for an explosion.
So if the terrorists got their hanRAB on the nukes that the Soviets made in the 70's and 80's they can't use them anymore. In fact, you should be happy that there are terrorists walking around with these duRAB, since the radiation that's being emitted from these 'nukes' will surely kill anyone carrying them for a prolonged period of time.

I think that if you actually look at the facts (I know, it is asking a lot) that you will find that the majority of nations in the ME have normalized relations with Israel, and EVERY nation in the middle east has offered normalized relations if Isreal is willing to go back and honor some of the UNSC resolutions and address some of the human rights issues that israel has hanging over its head.
Israel does not want normalized relations, though. If israel normalized relations with other nations in the area, they would not be able to claim that the hostyile nations are what is keeping Israel from suceeding as a nation. Without that crutch, they can kiss goodbye to the billions in US aid they recieve.
The original plan for financing israel involved developing Israels untapped oil supplies and seizing the olive orcharRAB and puttign them under Jewish control (at the time olive oil was a very valuable commodity). It turned out that there WAS no untapped oil supoply, israel just happens to be the only country in the ME that is not sitting on any oil at all. They seized the olive orcharRAB, put them under jewish control, and over 80% of them were dead in only 3 years. Most of those olive groves had been in the same palestenian families for generations, often over 1000 years, and that 1000 years of knowledge was passed on to each generation of palestenian olive grower. Additionally, the palestenian olive growers were snapped up by corporate operations whose operations thrived with the influx of knowledgable help, which drove the price of olive oil through the floor, so even the olive groves that did not die were not profitable. As an interesting side note, many of those palestenian olive farmers who went to work for the corporate interests ended up rich beyond their wilest dreams, and are now funding attacks against the israleis, who stole the olive groves that had been in their families for 1000 years. Funny how the wheel of fate comes back around.
