Do you want this phone as a fashion accessory or for actual use as a Cell Phone or Mobile phone.
If you want it for form and function, then, if the reviews are that bad, then forget about it.
If you want some hot neon colored item for your wardrobe then buy a scarf or belt, or something else.
I have no idea, what those phones cost, but unless you are signing some long term contract, it's going to cost you lots of money. In this economy, do you have that kind of cash to throw around?
Buy the scarf, and send the money you save, to some Charity, perhaps to the poor people in Haiti, or some other needy charity.
