Do you think I should be using capacitors?

I am going to be running 2 of these amps http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113KACX20/Kenwood-Excelon-KAC-X20.html?search=kenwood+excelon&tp=115 So would you recommend me using capacitors, and do you think I will have to upgrade my battery and alternator? Thanks.

I'm putting them into a 1992 Ford F-150 if that helps.
 
I would use capacitors.. You'll be pulling decent power, and you may have problems with dimming lights / not enough power when bass hits. I usually tell people anything over 200 watts use a capacitor. Use a cap and dont worry about your battery / alternator.
 
actually, I think you will be fine with everything stock...hook it up and turn on your headlights and crank it and see how much your headlights dim..

that will let you know if your alternator/battery can keep up with the flow

if you get pretty bad dimming then add a cap...should be fine from there!
 
the max for one of those amps is 520 from what i read. if you have a good battery then no no need for upgrade or capacitor. if you are planning on pushing the two amps for extended periods of time at peak capacity then an optima battery is a good idea or one capacitor. if you are just planning on pushing the two amps for short periods at less than peak levels then again no need for change. i have a 1200 watt amp that i push pretty hard with a stock battery and no capacitors. the capacitor stores power for later use and as long as you aren't running your stereo with the car off then you should be fine with the stock setup.
