Here's the deal. We have had nothing but hassles. We tracked down this suite in July - corner suite, leather, with a sofa bed. Went home to discuss it, chose the colour etc etc. Next week when we went to order it, it cost £700 more. I am not joking. £700.
We decided we couldn't afford it to went home. I looked on the internet and saw it offered at the same price, from the same company. Only available in one colour. So we ordered it.
Were told it would take four months. So once again, we grit out teeth and confirm that we will take it.
It should have been delivered in early December. We had a few cancellations then were told it arrived with one piece missing. So they wouldn't deliver it and we've had to wait for the extra bit.
I have spent hours on the phone, trying to track this down. We've given up days for this and organised what seems to be our lives around this wretched thing. It isn't the colour we wanted, and I am fed up.
I had a phone call this morning to say it has arrived in the country. I asked for free delivery. Do you think this is fair?
Oh, it is the colour I ordered, in that it was the only colour available at that price. They hadn't got around to updating the price on the website yet - if I'd ordered it the next day I'd have had to pay £700 more!
No, I don't think it is going out of business. Although I have been a bit worried, but they phoned this morning!
But is the customer always right! I don't think that is fair - often customers aren't right!
