Do you think horse riding is a sport?

and would you say it's for wimps?
Yes I ride - cross country jumping. I just wanted to know what non riders thought of the sport.
It's looks easy but if you don't think it's hard get on a horse and see how easy it is - the rider works hard to look easy.
 
no it's pretty dumb, try something where you actually have to move yourself rather than have someone else do all the work
 
yes it is well riding isnt but events like races, rodeo, ect are a sport, and also its not as easy as it looks, it requires balance and no fear
 
Yes, it take balance, muscle control and stamina just like many other sports. Especially if you compete
