Well as we've seen the top 4 are mainly dominated by Ferrari, Mclaren and a mix between Renault, BMW and sometimes Toyota.
I think that with most races that end up with a driver from a team other than those in the top 3 can be mostly put down to drivers from those other teams having bad luck during the race.
Not to say that the drivers have no talent but its just that the equipment they have is kind of under-developed compared to the top 3.
Kubica got his win when Lewis and Kimi had the accident in Canada, Jenson got his only win in Hungary in 2006 when practically every other driver was drifting off the track due to rain.
And although Alonso is very talented as we saw in 2005 & 2006 but his race win in Singapore was aided to it being new to every driver and Massa's problems in pit lane gave Alonso a bit more of an advantage.
I'm not taking meaning away from these drivers but i just think that it has coincidence that these drivers all had major contenders wiped out or because Singapore was a new track.
Honda with the right management and the right partners in engine and technology development might be a top 5 contender.
