Ok so I've known this guy since we were 13, we are both 18 now and in first year of university (different universities). From when we were 13 until about a year ago, we talked everyday on facebook. The sad part is that we never hung out once, never. We met at a summer camp and just talked on fb ever since. In December of last year, he got a girlfriend. He literally, just a few days after he started dating her I noticed that we hadn't talked for a while. usually he would send me a message everytime we were both online.
I feel like he doesn't even remember who I am now. He was a really nice, down to earth guy too. A couple of weeks ago I commented on a status of his and he just answered back and never said anything like "hey how've you been by the way?"
Is it just natural that guys drift away from their friends who are girls when they get a girlfriend?
The thing I really regret is that we never had a chance to see eachother in person after that summer camp.
