Do you think Ford should step up and start making more prefomance based cars.?

I mean more along the line of Chevy has the SS badge, Dodge has the SRT badge, Pontiac has the GXP badge, Saturn has the red line badge. See what i am getting at? Ford had the Probe GT and that had some power. The focas started to be able to tune that but not anymore.
 
Ford is not on their knees begging for money from the government.
GM has worn the knees out of their pants and are still down there begging.
Chrysler is kneeling next to GM.
So, who has the better idea? Maybe Ford?
