Do you think educated politicians are the key to a good and orderly society in India?

hey everyone! How many of you think that only people who have taken courses, done research, hold high degrees and were born with a silver spoon in their mouth can actually take action and make reforms in India? Does anyone think that even a less educated person who makes connections with the people is more apt? I'm actually preparing for a debate... Does anyone recollect any president/prime minister (not only India - any other country) who made a massacre when he/she came to power though the person was highly educated?
I'm excited about this topic and want my points to be correct... please help me out! Thanks a ton!!!

Well the politicians in the US claimed to be highly educated and look at the mess they have made here.

You can use that as an example if you like.

A leader must be COURAGEOUS. An education, particularly in a country's history , as well as the history of country's around the globe that might have an impact on ones own country, would be necessary in order to make sound judgements and avoid past mistakes. As far as politics, some learnings are necessary, however, nothing outside of real life experiance will prepare you for what a political appointment really is about. In a democracy where you are voted in you must have a love of your country and an empathy and genuine concern for the needs of ALL the people you will serve. This cannot be accomplished without a high degree of common sense ( the most important element , without it you would be unable to make decisions), and respect for those you may serve. We in the US have seen all too often, smooth talkers, branishing lofty credentials from exclusive universities, yet lacking the ability or the concern, to "connect" with the common man and using his podium instead as a means to pass what he sees as best for his people based on the elitist, narrow self interests of his own party's agenda. So to answer your question, Courage is essential, an education is necessary, a silver spoon is NOT, and genuine empathy, common sense, and a willingness to serve is CRUCIAL. The interests of YOUR people, and of YOUR OWN COUNTRY, must come FIRST at all times.
