Do You Think Death and Diseases Are Too Touchy Subject For Children's Cartoons

Heck no. If Sesame Street can devote an entire episode to the death of one of their main human characters, then there's no reason why cartoons aimed at kids can't either. In fact, I think it's better for kid shows to deal with disease and death rather than whitewashing them - just because cartoons are suppose to be an escape from reality doesn't mean that they have to be entirely unrealistic, and having realisrtic elements is a good way for them to be meaningful rather than having them be accused of being mindless

Bring it on, I say. I had no problem watching characters die in movies and TV shows as young kid. Why should others? If the kid doesn't seem that bothered by it, they'll watch it. If they are bothered by it, they won't. At least that's how my brothers and I were.

I'm pretty sure some people were kids when they watched Bambi and The Lion King. They were animated movies by Disney, and they pretty much handled death well...
