Do you think children who grow up with culture are more rounded?

I am Canadian and Mohegan Indian.

Neither of my parents know the language or the culture.

I am an American.

I was thinking about this the other day, I have no culture. I go home and do what every other "American" does. There are no cool traditions or different music or foods or dances or clothes or anything that me or my family does.

So, the question I am posing is: Do you think children who grow up with culture are more rounded? I guess the real question is, are they more confident in what they do? I am with different cultures everyday at school: Asian, spanish, african american, indian, etc. So I suppose I am well rounded. But do you think that children with different culture in their homes than at school have an advantage? Not just the language aspect, but all of it.
