Do you think Cesar Millan's TV show is beneficial to erasing the stereo

typing done on pit bulls? I am not asking you what you think of him or what you think of his show or what you think of his training methods - I am simply asking if you think that his work with pit bulls on his show portrays them in a positive light so that maybe some people will stop believing the media hype?
Being a poorly bred (insert breed here) doesn't make them not that breed!

Both of my parents are white trash (I use that term affectionately) does that make me less white? LOL

Actually NO.
You see when you see how horible these Pit Bulls are, you then realize that there is JUST ONE CESAR MILAN.

You realize that he is about the only person that can control this vicious breed of dog, and that more banning of the breed should take place.

neat question! I know a lot of people watch his show and how they see with the proper ownership that pit bulls are wonderful dogs. The people also see that there are many breeds of dogs who are closer to the actual stereo type than pit bulls really are.

I don't. I think it shows pit bulls as out of control until National Geographic comes in. I would be more happy if they showed the groomer, training, and day to day life of well behaved, responibly bred and handled pit bulls(and dogs in general) who are shown or participate in other dog competitions.

Daddy passed recently. Now Junior is on the go. There is a Pit Bull/Bully Dogs website and the people who run it do tremendous work in our area to promote and teach the public about the facts and the lies. They are also involved in any and everything dealing with BSL.

Okay, to make a long story short, Alan flew out and met Cesar Millan and his compound. (Lucky soul)

He said he has never met anyone like him and he has done more for the positive of the Pits/Bully Dogs.

I also feel that way. I have seen Cesar Millan, on his shows, take on the most aggressive (human) dogs including Shepherds, Rotties, Chihuahuas etc but never a Pit. For dog aggression, yes. But never for human aggression.

Classy Corgi is right. Cesar uses the term Pit Bull to cover all Bully dogs. The American Pit Bull Terrier is what I have.
Daddy was a Bully dog. So is Junior.

Um, Daddy is not a pit bull! He's an american bully, a mix.

Sorry, he isn't. He is what they call an "american Bully" which is really a mix.

Putting that aside, I like his views on pit bulls and their owners. I am not a Cesar fan but that is one thing I like about him and his show.
