Do you think batmans gadgets and car can be realistic? Why?

there is no way that a tiney wire shot out of his belt could hold his weight nd the person he is saving at the rate they are falling without snapping
 
I don't think that's exactly true, I would think of it as a bungee cord or something similar that hold a lot of weight. We don't really know what the wire is made of. But you know it's a comic book story for a reason, your supposed to suspend your belief. I think that it's definitely possible for Batman's gadgets and car to be realistic but whether it will actually happen or not is yet to be seen.
 
You can buy extremely strong cable with a very small diameter.

But getting it to shoot out like that would be very difficult. And where is all the cable stored in the belt!? :)
