Do you think all space alien societies wipe themselves out in due course? ?

could that be why we don't see them or their machines?
Maybe it's a natural consequence of intelligence. What do you think?
 
Not at all. I would imagine that a few thousands years down road, humans will all be united on Earth and we'd have world peace. So i'd assume that aliens would of made some sort of world peace. The reason we havn't seem them would probaby because our government doesn't want us too and we couldn't handle it.
 
Yes it could be a natural consequence of intelligence. We seem to be on a course of self destruction.
 
I think in the long run that many life forms in the universe have come and gone, either killed themselves out or succumb to natural disaster or disease, but I do think that some make it to space and live, Imagine huge space colony's the size of states, unfortunately if humans were to die out we wouldn't be the first or the last.
