Do you support common sense economics?

When in recession, fuel the economy by spending more.

When in prospertiy, cut spending and pay down debt.

That's common sense.

McCain's idea of freezing domestic spending here at home during a time of crisis, while continuing to drain our budget on rebuilding Iraq..........would be a disaster.

and we already tried the Republicans' method: tax cuts for the wealthy.
We did that for the past several years. They failed to revive this economy.
I support tax cuts.......I'm pro-tax cuts......but tax-cuts aren't going to save us from a failing economy.

Yes, I support Common Sense Economics...Problem is: No one in leadership has any Common Sense. When this happens we lose power, trust, all abilities, and our freedom...Oh, wait..That happening now.. Im for setting term limits on all of congress and legislative branches, getting rid of the current disaster of a President that we have now (of who I originally campaigned for), and get an independent Business man in office who knows how to implement the Common Sense decisions we need to become strong again as a leading nation.

"we already tried the Republicans' method: tax cuts for the wealthy.
We did that for the past several years. They failed to revive this economy."

You said it all with that statement. Doing it again and expecting a different outcome is just stupid.

Recessions are caused by people not spending money, so the only way to get out of a recession is to spend money. Anyone who says otherwise (Glenn Beck) is an idiot.

You cannot spend your way out of a recession.
If you really are interested in common sense politics you need to watch the Glenn Beck show.

If that's your idea of common sense, I would hate to see what you see as radical. Spending money when the economy is in recession is not common sense, and anyone who would think so has absolutely no understanding of economics or how a Capitalistic economy operates. You mentioned tax cut's not reviving the economy for the past 7 years, how could tax cuts need to revive the economy when the economy didn't need reviving ? The economy only started weakening in 2007 one year after liberal Democrats took control of congress . The economy grew at a mild pace for 6 of the eight years George Bush was in office. You know I don't mind a person presenting a point of view, but at least have your fact straight, your just shooting in the dark hoping to hit something here. God bless.

psst Glen beck!! That man ( and I use that term lightly) is a joke. Yes you're correct, spending more WOULD fuel the economy.
