Do you still own a VCR?

And if so, do you still use it?
I have a dvd/vcr combo at home and I use the VCR to watch old Disney cartoons and Good Burger. But since I haven't lived at home for a few weeks I'd say I don't use it (my boyfriend is lame and doesn't have anything! I had to bring over my DVD player).
Sorry about your Thumbelina tape! For my 17th birthday I asked for it on DVD because I used to borrow it from a childhood friend but our parents stopped talking so I never got to watch it anymore.

yes,and soo yes...i hate stupid dvds they are so crappy...one scratch and youre out $30..vhs tapes can go thru a tornado and still play...lol.

Occasionally, we use the VCR. It's just a cheapy we bought 3 maybe 4 years ago. Walmart, of course. But it works ok and once in a while something will come on that we might not be able to stay and watch, so we zap a blank tape in and record the show for later viewing. No programming or anything, just pop it in and run it.
