sometimes when i watch CNN or something, the news reporter would sometimes say "breaking news" and then follow with some lame story that isnt really important like such and such person is having an affair and things like that.
when i think of the term "breaking news", i think of something very important that it would interrupt whatever else was going on, but half the time its some kind of news about some celeb who probably got arrested or something.
do you find the term "breaking news" to be misleading sometimes?
